I dont agree with that. I've just found out about the existence of splatterladder. Since then my teamplay has improved. IF you want a lot of xp its the best to cover your teammate engineers. If they are doing objective then you can gain a lot of xp. I use my teammate engineer as a human shield zo I can kill the enemy without taking too much damage. Afterall, I can revive the engineer so I get a lot of xp. I also revive teammates in the middle of a fight. This way I gain their trus,t so sometimes they dont tap out because they think I will heal them, and I will. If im right (im not sure) your splatterladderranking increases by the amount of xp you gain per minute, and aiming skills.
Anyways the best way to stop this egoism is disabling splatterladder. I use it alot to find people and servers, but I also think that it really encourages xpwhores and other useless fighters. I prefer to be an objective whore.
